As the car gradually into the family, the "heart of the car" said the engine is no longer a simple mechanical noun. How to maintain the engine  how to use and change the engine oil properly, and how to clean the friction surface of the engine have become a topic of concern to the majority of car owners.

Due to the lubricating oil in the engine work under the influence of fuel combustion temperature and a variety of media, the metal catalyst, carbon deposition, produce gradually aging metamorphism, film of engine harmful substances such as sludge and respectively in the different parts of the engine, gradually fill oil and friction surface, cause poor lubrication and wear speed, endangers the normal use of engine. Therefore, as a car user, in order to ensure the safety of the vehicle, in addition to the correct choice of lubricating oil products, but also to master a certain engine oil change and cleaning common sense.

For new cars or new replacement engine vehicles, because the mileage is very short, the vehicle is in good condition, only the following points need to be done:

1. Choose the right quality level and viscosity level of engine oil;

2. Oil change should be carried out immediately after driving a distance as far as possible. If not, it should also start the vehicle for a few minutes before oil change to make the lubricating oil circulate evenly in the engine, so as to bring out all kinds of sediment together;

3. Open the drain port at the bottom of the engine, put all the oil into the container prepared in advance (the oil is hot, be careful of burns), after completion, do not immediately close the drain port, appropriate empty for a period of time, to ensure that the residual oil in the engine completely flow out;

4. Observe the flow of oil state, if there is a smell, very thick or stratified phenomenon, should shorten the oil change cycle, if there is a strong smell of fuel, indicating that the engine combustion chamber seal is not good, recommended maintenance;

5. Close the drain port bolt and replace the engine oil filter;

6. Clean the dust around the oil injection port on the top of the engine, open the oil injection port, fill fresh oil to the oil gauge limit, close the oil injection port, start the engine, idle for a few minutes, and stop;

7. Check the dipstick, properly add oil to the upper limit of the dipstick, close the oil injection port, and end the oil change.
